2. Purpose of the Agreement
This Agreement governs the Data Processor’s processing of personal data on behalf of the Data Controller in connection with the following activities:
- Hosting and operation of the workshop’s website via Nordcraft.com
- Handling of form submissions (contact, booking, quote requests)
- Storage of data in a PostgreSQL database
- Management of data from the PostgreSQL database in Directus (headless CMS)
- Delivery of marketing and analytical tools
- Possible integrations with third-party APIs (e.g., licence plate lookup, tyre selection, booking systems)
3. Categories of Data Subjects and Data
The following types of personal data are typically processed:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Message content
- Voice inputs (if applicable)
- IP address
- Media or images
- Vehicle registration plate and model (for service enquiries)
Processing may also include anonymised data collected through analytical tools.
4. Duration of Processing
Processing will continue for as long as the Data Controller maintains an active customer relationship with Platinum One Auto Services LLC.
Upon termination, all data will either be deleted or returned to the Data Controller upon written request.
5. Obligations of the Data Processor
Platinum One Auto Services LLC agrees to:
- Process personal data solely on documented instructions from the Data Controller.
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data.
- Implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
- Assist the Data Controller in fulfilling its obligations under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), including responding to access or deletion requests.
6. Sub-Processors
Platinum One Auto Services LLC uses the following approved sub-processors:
- Elest.io (Hetzner servers) – Hosting infrastructure
- Nordcraft – Frontend hosting platform
- Directus – Database and CMS
- OpenAI – Text generation and chat functionality
- Cookiebot (Usercentrics) – Cookie and consent management
- Google (GA4, Ads) – Analytics and marketing
- Microsoft Clarity – User interaction analysis
Transfers of personal data to countries outside the UAE (for example, OpenAI or Google) will only occur where adequate safeguards exist in accordance with Article 23 of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (such as approved contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).
7. Technical and Organisational Security Measures
Platinum One Auto Services LLC has implemented the following security measures:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
- Two-factor authentication for access control
- Data-level access restrictions (by project/workshop)
- Regular data backups and logging
- Internal PDPL-awareness training and procedures
8. Supervision and Documentation
The Data Controller has the right to obtain documentation demonstrating the Data Processor’s compliance with its obligations.
The Data Controller also has the right to request an audit or inspection with a minimum of 30 days’ written notice.
Audit costs are borne by the requesting party.
9. Termination and Data Handling
Upon termination of the relationship, the Data Controller may choose to:

Receive all data in a structured, machine-readable format; or

Have all personal data permanently deleted.
Such actions will be completed within 30 days of termination, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Liability
The Parties shall be liable in accordance with the general principles set out in the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
The Data Processor is liable for any damage caused by processing personal data in violation of this Agreement or the PDPL.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
