Paint Protection Film Dubai Hero Image

Our Commitment

Dubai’s roads expose vehicles to extreme heat, UV radiation, fine dust, and constant stone impact — all of which will inevitably degrade factory paintwork over time.

Once the clear coat is damaged, a respray on a high-value car can run into tens of thousands of dirhams, and your vehicle will never carry factory paintwork again.

We install STEK and Hexis year-round, and XPEL when authorised supply allows — three brands we’ve stayed with for their finish and low re-do rate.

Quality drifts. Manufacturing changes, supply chains shift, quality varies batch to batch. That’s why we stay close to the technicians applying them and the customers living with them — and we adjust our PPF brand lineup when the evidence says to.

We’re only as good as our recent job.

Authorised supply — no grey-market film

Grey-market PPF — film sold outside authorised distribution — has circulated in Dubai. We only source through manufacturer-authorised channels, so every film we install is genuine, within manufacturer shelf life, warranty-registered, and traceable.

If you’ve been quoted a premium-brand film at a price that looks too low, ask for the warranty registration. That’s the cleanest single test.

Why Platinum One Auto

Choosing the right PPF installer is just as important as choosing the film itself. Dust, humidity and a rushed surface prep are the three biggest causes of bubbles, edge lift and early delamination — none of which are the film’s fault.

That’s why every PPF job runs through our dedicated, climate-controlled PPF installation bay — separated from the rest of the workshop.

No brake dust. No overspray. No compromise. Every installation begins with detailed surface preparation to ensure perfect adhesion and clean edge alignment, and every film is applied with precision-fit accuracy for a seamless, nearly invisible finish.

Our Paint Protection Film Services

Precision-installed protection designed for real-world driving.

Full Body PPF – Maximum protection for your entire vehicle

A full-body PPF installation shields every painted surface from stone chips, swirl marks, UV exposure, and environmental damage — while remaining nearly invisible. Available in any of our four films — pick the one that matches your budget, warranty preference, and how long you plan to keep the car.

Ideal for new and high-value cars, and long-term ownership — particularly owners who plan to sell or trade the car and want to hand it over with original factory paintwork intact.

Front-End PPF – Targeted protection for high-impact areas

This package focuses on the most vulnerable panels:

  • Front bumper — from AED 1,200
  • Bonnet — from AED 800
  • Fenders — from AED 300 each
  • Side mirrors — from AED 150 each
  • Headlights and taillights — from AED 100 each

Headlight film is available in a range of tints — from light grey to deep smoke — for those looking to combine protection with a subtle styling upgrade.

A cost-effective way to prevent visible damage from daily driving without wrapping the entire vehicle.

Looking for colour change, matte, or vinyl wrap?

Colour-change PPF (including Tinybot Lumina reflective films), satin/matte finishes, and full vinyl wraps sit in our Performance & Styling cluster — protective PPF and styling films are different jobs with different positioning. See our Vinyl Wrapping page →

Maintenance & Aftercare

Every full-body installation includes a 10-day return inspection — the car comes back to the bay so we can check every panel once the film has fully cured and bonded to the paint. After that, we provide aftercare guidance to keep the film performing over time.

Why Not All PPF Is the Same

Lower-quality films can:

  • Turn yellow under UV exposure
  • Peel or lift at the edges
  • Fail prematurely in Dubai’s heat
  • Leave adhesive residue on the paint when removed

They also lack the self-healing technology that allows minor scratches and surface marks to disappear on their own when the film warms up — whether from sunlight, engine heat or a warm rinse.

Protect it once — or pay to repair it later.

What our customers say

Frequently asked questions

Is PPF better than ceramic coating?

They serve different purposes. PPF provides physical protection — it absorbs stone chips, rock impacts and deep scratches that would otherwise reach the paint.

Ceramic coating enhances gloss, makes the surface more hydrophobic, and makes the car easier to wash — but it won't stop a stone chip.

The two are designed to be layered: PPF first, ceramic coating on top. For maximum protection and easiest long-term care, we often recommend combining them.

Is full-body PPF worth it compared to partial coverage?

If you want complete peace of mind, full-body PPF is the best option. Partial coverage protects high-impact areas, but leaves other panels exposed.

Full-body PPF ensures consistent protection across the entire vehicle, preserving both appearance and resale value.

Can paint protection hide scratches or paint defects?

Ceramic coating and PPF do not hide defects — the surface must be corrected first.

That’s why we perform multi-stage polishing and preparation before any application to ensure a flawless, glossy finish that lasts.

Which PPF brands do you use?

We install four films, each chosen for performance under heat and UV.

STEK FORCE Shield is our entry option — 8-mil with a hydrophobic, self-healing top coat and a 10-year warranty on clear film, available in gloss or matte.

STEK DYNO Shield is the premium STEK option — 8-mil with a nano-ceramic-infused top coat, 12-year warranty on clear film, and orange-peel-free optical clarity.

Hexis BODYFENCE X is our recommended all-round option — 8-mil with self-healing and stain-resistant properties, 10-year warranty, and outstanding UV performance in the UAE climate.

XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 is the flagship — a roughly 10-mil film about 25% thicker than standard PPF, with a fully transferable 10-year warranty. STEK and Hexis are stocked year-round; XPEL is subject to authorised supply.

Every film is sourced through manufacturer-authorised channels and registered for warranty at install.

How do I choose between STEK FORCE Shield, STEK DYNO Shield, Hexis BODYFENCE X, and XPEL Ultimate Plus 10?

It comes down to film construction, warranty terms, and transferability.

STEK FORCE Shield is the value option for owners planning around a five-year hold — hydrophobic, self-healing top coat with a 10-year clear-film warranty.

STEK DYNO Shield gives you the longest clear-film warranty (12 years) with a nano-ceramic top coat for best hydrophobic performance and orange-peel-free clarity.

Hexis BODYFENCE X is our recommended all-round pick — same 8-mil construction as STEK with self-healing, stain resistance, and strong UV performance for Dubai's climate.

XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 is the flagship — pick it if you want the thickest film, the strongest impact protection on high-strike panels (bonnet, bumper, fenders), and a warranty that transfers if you sell the car.

We'll walk you through the differences in person before you book.

What warranty do you offer on Paint Protection Film?

The warranty depends on the film you choose.

STEK FORCE Shield is 10 years on clear film, 5 years on colour.

STEK DYNO Shield is 12 years on clear film, 10 years on colour.

Hexis BODYFENCE X carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty.

XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 carries a 10-year fully transferable warranty.

Every warranty covers yellowing, peeling, cracking and material defects, and each installation is registered directly with the manufacturer.

How long does Paint Protection Film last?

It depends on the film, the installation environment, and how the car is cared for.

Our flagship options — XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 at 10 years (transferable) and STEK DYNO Shield at 12 years — regularly last beyond their warranty windows with proper maintenance.

Heat, humidity and dust all shorten PPF lifespan, which is why we select films specifically engineered for Dubai's climate and install them in a controlled environment.

Why is your PPF more expensive than some other Dubai workshops?

Paint Protection Film is one of the few services where what you pay for is almost entirely in the installation. The film itself is a small share of the final cost — the value is in surface preparation, a dust-free environment, precision cutting, and a technician who won't rush the job.

A cheap install on a premium film will still lift at the edges within a year.

We install STEK (FORCE Shield and DYNO Shield), Hexis BODYFENCE X, and XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 (when authorised supply allows), inside a dedicated climate-controlled PPF bay, and every install is registered with the manufacturer for warranty cover.

That's what you're paying for — the film, fitted properly, guaranteed in writing.

How long does the installation take?

A full-body PPF installation typically takes 2 days to complete. This allows for proper surface preparation, precise application, and quality control to ensure a flawless finish.

Do you inspect the film after installation?

Yes. Every full-body installation includes a 10-day return inspection — the car comes back to the bay so we can check every panel once the film has fully cured and bonded to the paint.

Will PPF damage my paint when removed?

No — when professionally installed and removed, Paint Protection Film will not damage your paint.

In fact, it helps preserve the original factory finish underneath.

Can ceramic coating be applied over PPF or vinyl wraps?

Absolutely. Ceramic coating can be applied over Paint Protection Film or vinyl wraps to enhance durability, hydrophobic properties, and long-term protection.
