Our Commitment

Dubai’s roads expose vehicles to extreme heat, UV radiation, fine dust, and constant stone impact — all of which will inevitably degrade factory paintwork over time. Once the clear coat is damaged, a respray on a premium European car can run into tens of thousands of dirhams, and your vehicle will never carry factory paintwork again.

At Platinum One Auto, our Paint Protection Film (PPF) solutions are designed to preserve your car’s original finish, protect its resale value, and keep it looking the way it did the day you collected it. We use high-quality films that are self-healing, resistant to yellowing, and engineered to perform in high-temperature environments.

Our premium films are built with nano-ceramic top-coat technology that repels water at an exceptional level while eliminating the textured surface imperfections common in lower-grade films.

Premium PPF Brands We Install

Three films, each chosen for performance in Dubai’s climate and sourced directly through manufacturer-authorised channels.

Tier Film Warranty (clear) From Best for
Flagship XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 10 years, transferable AED 18,000 Owners who want the thickest, most transferable PPF on the market
Premium STEK STEK DYNO Shield 12 years AED 12,500 Longest warranty on clear film; nano-ceramic top coat
Value STEK STEK FORCE Shield 10 years AED 10,000 Owners planning to keep the car around five years
  • XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 — XPEL’s flagship ~10-mil clear paint protection film, built on an aliphatic polyurethane base for UV stability and yellowing resistance, with an elastomeric, self-healing top coat that recovers light scratches and swirl marks under heat. Approximately 25% thicker than standard PPF for high-impact panels such as bonnets and bumpers, backed by a fully transferable 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, bubbling, and delamination.

  • STEK DYNO Shield — 8-mil gloss film with a nano-ceramic-infused top coat bonded directly into the film, delivering extreme hydrophobic performance, orange-peel-free optical clarity, and a 12-year warranty on clear film (10 years on colour).

  • STEK FORCE Shield — STEK’s competitive-price line with a hydrophobic, self-healing top coat. 10-year warranty on clear film, 5 years on colour. A strong choice for owners planning to keep the car for around 5 years.

Authorised supply — no grey-market film

Grey-market PPF — film sold outside authorised distribution — has circulated in Dubai. We only source through manufacturer-authorised channels, so every film we install is genuine, within manufacturer shelf life, warranty-registered, and traceable. XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 carries a 2-year shelf life from purchase — anything beyond that requires re-certification by XPEL before install. If you’ve been quoted a premium-brand film at a price that looks too low, ask for the warranty registration. That’s the cleanest single test.

Porsche 997 — full-body PPF, two-day install in our climate-controlled bay

Platinum One Auto is an officially listed STEK installer, verified on the STEK global installer network. Find us on the STEK installer directory →

Each full-body PPF installation is completed over two days — time we use deliberately to ensure thorough surface preparation, precise film fitment, and proper curing before the vehicle is handed back.

Many clients combine PPF with Ceramic Coating, Vehicle Styling, or Performance & Styling upgrades to protect both factory paint and custom enhancements over time. This approach ensures every vehicle leaves our workshop protected to the highest standard.

Why Platinum One Auto

Choosing the right PPF installer is just as important as choosing the film itself. Dust, humidity and a rushed surface prep are the three biggest causes of bubbles, edge lift and early delamination — none of which are the film’s fault.

That’s why every PPF job runs through our dedicated, climate-controlled PPF installation bay — separated from the rest of the workshop. No brake dust. No overspray. No compromise. Every installation begins with detailed surface preparation to ensure perfect adhesion and clean edge alignment, and every film is applied with precision-fit accuracy for a seamless, nearly invisible finish.

We focus on consistency, quality control, and long-term performance — not volume — which is why we only take on a limited number of vehicles per week.

Our Paint Protection Film Services

Precision-installed protection designed for real-world driving.

Full Body PPF – Maximum protection for your entire vehicle

A full-body PPF installation shields every painted surface from stone chips, swirl marks, UV exposure, and environmental damage — while remaining nearly invisible. Our premium 8-mil STEK DYNO Shield film is engineered to absorb rock chips, road debris and the impact of daily driving without allowing any damage to reach the paint beneath.

Ideal for new cars, luxury vehicles, and long-term ownership — particularly owners who plan to sell or trade the car and want to hand it over with original factory paintwork intact.

Front-End PPF – Targeted protection for high-impact areas

This package focuses on the most vulnerable panels, including:

  • Front bumper - starting from AED 1200
  • Bonnet - starting from AED 800
  • Fenders - starting from AED 300 (each)
  • Side mirrors - starting from AED 150 (each)
  • Headlights and taillights - starting from AED 100 (each)

Headlight film is available in a range of tints — from light grey to deep smoke — for those looking to combine protection with a subtle styling upgrade.

A cost-effective way to prevent visible damage from daily driving without wrapping the entire vehicle.

Looking for colour change, matte, or vinyl wrap?

Colour-change PPF (including Tinybot Lumina reflective films), satin/matte finishes, and full vinyl wraps sit in our Performance & Styling cluster — protective PPF and styling films are different jobs with different positioning. See our Vinyl Wrapping page →

Ceramic-Coated PPF – Enhanced hydrophobic performance

Our ceramic-coated PPF integrates a nano-ceramic layer directly into the film itself, creating a surface that actively repels water, resists contamination, and maintains a flawless, texture-free clarity. This improves water repellency, gloss retention, and ease of maintenance.

Anti-contamination properties make removing bird droppings, tree sap and road grime effortless — preventing the kind of permanent etching that ruins unprotected paintwork in Dubai’s climate.

Maintenance & Aftercare

To ensure long-term performance, we provide detailed aftercare guidance following installation. Optional inspections and professional wash routines help maintain film clarity, adhesion, and self-healing properties over time.

All full-body installations use premium-grade films engineered for Dubai’s conditions — XPEL Ultimate Plus 10, STEK DYNO Shield, or STEK FORCE Shield — with manufacturer warranties of up to 12 years on our flagship options.

Why Not All PPF Is the Same

Lower-quality films can:

  • Turn yellow under UV exposure
  • Peel or lift at the edges
  • Fail prematurely in Dubai’s heat
  • Leave adhesive residue on the paint when removed

They also lack the self-healing technology that allows minor scratches and surface marks to disappear on their own when the film warms up — whether from sunlight, engine heat or a warm rinse.

And without a proper anti-contamination top coat, substances like bird droppings, road tar and industrial fallout bond to the film surface over time, causing damage that becomes impossible to reverse.

Our premium-grade PPF is engineered to withstand extreme conditions while maintaining clarity, adhesion, and performance for years.

Protect it once — or pay to repair it later.

What our customers say

Frequently asked questions

Is PPF better than ceramic coating?

They serve different purposes. PPF provides physical protection — it absorbs stone chips, rock impacts and deep scratches that would otherwise reach the paint.

Ceramic coating enhances gloss, makes the surface more hydrophobic, and makes the car easier to wash — but it won't stop a stone chip.

The two are designed to be layered: PPF first, ceramic coating on top. For maximum protection and easiest long-term care, we often recommend combining them.

Is full-body PPF worth it compared to partial coverage?

If you want complete peace of mind, full-body PPF is the best option. Partial coverage protects high-impact areas, but leaves other panels exposed.

Full-body PPF ensures consistent protection across the entire vehicle, preserving both appearance and resale value.

Which PPF brands do you use?

We install three films, each chosen for performance in Dubai's climate.

XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 is the flagship — a roughly 10-mil film about 25% thicker than standard PPF, with a 10-year fully transferable warranty against yellowing, cracking, bubbling and delamination.

STEK DYNO Shield is our flagship STEK option — 8-mil with a nano-ceramic-infused top coat, 12-year warranty on clear film.

STEK FORCE Shield is STEK's value line with a 10-year warranty on clear film and a hydrophobic, self-healing top coat.

Every film is sourced through manufacturer-authorised channels and registered for warranty at install.

How do I choose between XPEL Ultimate Plus, STEK DYNO Shield and STEK FORCE Shield?

It comes down to film construction, warranty terms, and transferability.

XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 is the flagship — pick it if you want the thickest film, the strongest impact protection on high-strike panels (bonnet, bumper, fenders), and a warranty that transfers if you sell the car.

STEK DYNO Shield gives you the longest warranty on clear film (12 years) with a nano-ceramic top coat for the best hydrophobic performance and orange-peel-free optical clarity.

STEK FORCE Shield is the value-STEK option for owners planning around a five-year hold — same hydrophobic, self-healing performance with a shorter warranty window.

We'll walk you through the differences in person before you book.

What warranty do you offer on Paint Protection Film?

The warranty depends on the film you choose.

XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 carries a 10-year fully transferable warranty.

STEK DYNO Shield is warrantied for 12 years on clear film and 10 years on colour.

STEK FORCE Shield is 10 years on clear, 5 on colour.

Every warranty covers yellowing, peeling, cracking and material defects, and each installation is registered directly with the manufacturer.

How long does Paint Protection Film last?

It depends on the film, the installation environment, and how the car is cared for.

Our flagship options — XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 at 10 years (transferable) and STEK DYNO Shield at 12 years — regularly last beyond their warranty windows with proper maintenance.

Heat, humidity and dust all shorten PPF lifespan, which is why we select films specifically engineered for Dubai's climate and install them in a controlled environment.

Why is your PPF more expensive than some other Dubai workshops?

Paint Protection Film is one of the few services where what you pay for is almost entirely in the installation. The film itself is a small share of the final cost — the value is in surface preparation, a dust-free environment, precision cutting, and a technician who won't rush the job.

A cheap install on a premium film will still lift at the edges within a year.

We install only XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 and STEK (DYNO Shield and FORCE Shield), inside a dedicated climate-controlled PPF bay, and every install is registered with the manufacturer for warranty cover.

That's what you're paying for — the film, fitted properly, guaranteed in writing.

How long does the installation take?

A full-body PPF installation typically takes 2 days to complete. This allows for proper surface preparation, precise application, and quality control to ensure a flawless finish.

Will PPF damage my paint when removed?

No — when professionally installed and removed, Paint Protection Film will not damage your paint.

In fact, it helps preserve the original factory finish underneath.
